Three Main Parts to Our Vision:

BECOME A MODEL CAMP
We want to be a model camp and outdoor centre for Christian adventure learning.

DEVELOP A LEADERSHIP SCHOOL
We want to develop a top quality leadership school that trains people in Christian adventure learning and personal discipleship.

SHARE WITH OTHERS
We want to develop and share Christian adventure learning with others through the provision of training and publications.

Our Mission

The mission of Medeba is to change young people's lives through specialized adventure experiences with a Christian perspective.

Statements of Belief

Medeba is an organization that desires to honour God and therefore derives its understanding and beliefs about our faith and our world from the Bible, Gods message to mankind. The following are several key positions of belief.

About our Faith
We believe:
The plenary inspiration of the Old and New Testaments as the very Word of God.

The triune God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His substitutionary atonement for sin, His bodily resurrection and
His personal, visible return to earth to reign in righteousness and glory.

The Person of the Holy Spirit and His work of conviction, regeneration and sanctification, who indwells every believer.

The necessity of the new birth in salvation by faith in Jesus Christ alone, and the importance of a life fully committed to the will of God in Christ.

About our World

Equality
We believe in equal value of all persons regardless of gender, race, nationality, age, religion, sexual orientation, social or economic status, incarceration, those with special needs or the unborn. We believe that all should be treated with respect and honour.

Sexuality
We believe that God created male and female to live in complimentary relationship and that the practice of any sexual activity is to be reserved for the exclusive, life-long marriage between a man and a woman.

Earth
We believe that we honour God by caring for the world he created. We are to be faithful stewards by using and not abusing the earth's resources.

Authority
We believe that government and other authorities have been established by God and mankind is responsible to comply with the laws of the land.
