Summer Staff - Missionary (ages 17 and up)

Thank you for your interest in applying to be a summer staff - missionary member at Medeba Summer Camp. Medeba Summer Camp is a Christian ministry which began in 1952. We strive for excellence and opportunities to encourage people while being pleasing to our Lord in all we do. Our organizational values clearly outline our desires for Medeba: Honour God, Develop People and Pursue Excellence. Medeba's stategy is to use Christian Adventure Learning to teach/reinforce Christian faith values and present the good news of the Christian message.

The following is a brief explanation about being on staff at Medeba.

In order to accomplish our goals we are looking for summer staff-missionaries who are striving to live consistent Christ-like lives and display the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:21) which is evidently displayed through a personal relationship with Jesus. We are praying for a unified team of workers in all areas of our summer camp who have a servant's heart, a passion for God and a love for kids. Our hope is our staff will help to accomplish our goals and provide the kind of care and leadership to our campers that their parents would expect.

Applicants should have a foundation in some of the skills we offer, experience in working with children, a love for God, and a desire to serve Him in this kind of ministry. Being a summer staff-missionary member is fun and rewarding work but you must be in good physical and spiritual shape to handle the long hours and emotional demands. It's exciting to be a part of the Medeba staff family. It is challenging but rewarding work.

Summer staff - missionarys are carefully selected using an in-depth application procedure to ensure the best possible experience for the campers. We consider each potential staff - missionary member by prayerfully evaluating the application received, the references requested and meeting you through a personal interview, wherever possible.
