Tri Program Building
The Tri Program building is getting a new look this fall, and will soon match the siding of the rest of our Medeba buildings! The Office is now completely done, as are all of the cabins - the trim and exterior siding, soffit and fascia.
In preparation for building the Mountain Lodge, we have buried the hydro lines around main camp. We dug a trench from the Dining Hall down to the road, and one from the dining hall to the Lodge, to the Hub and to the Junction. This has really cleaned up the airspace around the Dining Hall!
Dining Hall Retaining Wall
The retaining wall surrounding the dining hall was in need of replacement. The new wall is not only practical but also functional. It was designed in tiers that will allow campers to sit on the wall for our summer BBQ dinners. The side entrance was also replaced to allow wheelchair accessibility to the dining hall.
Whitewater Building Renovation
Old cabin 2 was transformed into the new white-water building. Now an impressive array of colourful white-water boats all lined up in the new storage area greets everyone as they drive into camp. The interior of the building is newly organized with all the equipment stored in three separate rooms – one for gear for guests, one for personal staff gear and one for white-water tubes. The board and batten siding on this building, cabins and office look great and match the entire facility.
